Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactContre jour photos require a delicate balance – too dark and they are just a silhouette; too light and they lose the mystery of the backlit scene. Whether the photographer got this treasure straight from the camera by exceptional photo technique or from talented post-production work is irrelevant: he got the balance perfect! This image stood out immediately for me for that reason, and the lovely model with the beguiling expression is even better. I will look forward to more such photos.
